An extraordinary lifting and handling operation took place at the port of Lerici: a 1,650-tonne module was weighed with maximum precision and loaded thanks to the experience and professionalism of the SIMI team.
The project required a perfect combination of technical expertise, coordination, and operational power, elements that define every SIMI operation.
The weighing was performed using SIMI load cells, highly reliable instruments that ensured maximum accuracy in every phase of the work.
The transport and handling of the module were then carried out using SPMT (Self Propelled Modular Transporters), enabling millimeter precision in moving an exceptionally large load.
At the end of the operation, the module was loaded onto a barge, ready to leave the port of Lerici to continue its journey to its final destination.
